3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF), a prevention-focused non-profit organization committed to eradicating human trafficking and exploitation, has welcomed Hillary Evans to its team of individuals passionate about creating a world free.

Telecommunications Against Trafficking and Exploitation (TATE) was established in 2020 in response to a need for more eyes and ears trained to recognize the signs of human trafficking in our communities.

Human trafficking is very real, and what many do not know is that it occurs right here within the United States. The media portrays it as a crime straight out of a “Taken” movie that occurs only in nations across the globe, but it happens in our own backyards and oftentimes involves more psychological manipulation than physical force.

3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF), a national organization committed to fighting for a world free from human trafficking and exploitation, has released the organization’s 2020 Annual Impact Report, including prevention program impact numbers, data on populations served, stories of hope, quotes from those reached through 3SGF offerings, letters from program managers, a message from the CEO, a statement from the Board Chair, and more.

Fort Worth schools have received a federal grant to help combat human trafficking, district officials announced Monday.

Fort Worth ISD is one of only eight school districts nationwide to receive a new federal grant to develop and implement programs to prevent human trafficking victimization. FWISD is partnering with anti-human trafficking, non-profit organizations, Unbound North Texas and 3Strands Global Foundation.

When the Human Trafficking Prevention Education and Training Act (AB 1227) became law in 2017, California jurisdictions didn’t receive any money to implement the new program. But that hasn’t stopped the County of Marin from making impressive progress.

Leaders in the telecommunications industry have partnered with 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF), a Sacramento-based nonprofit working to end human trafficking throughout the US. The goal is to educate telecommunications professionals on the signs of human trafficking and train them on how to recognize, notify and report the crime. 

3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) received a grant from El Dorado Hills Rotary, which will further propel the organization’s work with survivors of human trafficking and those at-risk of being exploited.

Led by Laurie Caruso, CEO of Safe-Fi Technologies and Chair of the Community Affairs workgroup, Safer Buildings Coalition works closely with a number of organizations across the country to raise awareness about important causes and further the Safer Buildings Coalition mission. One of these organizations is 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) with which SBC works to combat human trafficking.

3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF), was founded in a sleepy suburb of California after a local teen was lured from a grocery store parking lot and trafficked. She was recovered, but a group of advocates decided that more needed to be done in the community. 3Strands Global Foundation believes that prevention changes everything and has since expanded the reach of their multiple prevention initiatives throughout California, Utah and Texas.
